2009 Estate Grown Pinot Noir - $38

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast - Paul Gregutt

Made exclusively from grapes grown in our vineyard on Hollywood Hill, this is the only Estate Grown wine in Woodinville.  As some may recall, 2009 was a very hot summer in Western Washington, with little-to-no rain for 3 straight months. As a result, the entire vineyard ripened and produced beautifully ripe, rich fruit.

Like a well made Burgundy, this wine is light on the palate - with a slightly floral nose and youthful, delicate flavors of strawberries, cherries and cola.  Light polish filtration gives the wine a bright clear color.   A classic Pinot Noir, this wine will pair perfectly with many foods, and age well for at least 7 years.

2008 DIst83 Blend - $36 - SOLD OUT

93 points - Wine Advocate #196 Aug 2011

Our 2nd vintage of this classic Rhone blend, named for the historic Hollywood school district in Woodinville. This year’s blend, dominated by Grenache, is deep ruby in color with a blue tint coming from the Syrah and Mourvedre. Fresh berries and cotton candy dominate the nose, while the palate is loaded with licorice and black fruits. A talc element brings character to the wine which evolves into a long pleasant finish.

2008 Red Mountain Syrah - $34

 91 points - Wine Advocate  #196 Aug 2011

With the cooler 2008 temperatures, the well-known Red Mountain interplay of fruit and acidity is fully evident in this Syrah.  The nose is fully Red Mountain - both earthy and fruity. The lush palate of candied fruit emerges slowly.  The acidity is pronounced, making this young wine perfect for aging, perhaps up to 10 years.

2008 Rattlesnake Hills Syrah - $34

90 points - Wine Advocate #196 Aug 2011

A beautiful classic Syrah.  2008 was a cool summer in Washington State.  Harvest was late, brix were lower and acids higher - resulting in a complex meaty Syrah which is perfect for aging.  The color is dark - almost black - with a magenta rim.  The nose is rich with smoked meats, dried currants, lavender and thyme.  The palate is full-bodied and the finish is lovely and long.

2008 Wahluke Slope Syrah - $32

Double Gold Medal - Seattle Wine Awards 2011

We always get lots of wonderful spice from the fruit in the Doc Stewart vineyard on Wahluke Slope.  Who can forget the 2008 Malbec??   While it doesn't have the same spicy intensity as the Malbec, this delicious Syrah asserts itself with lots of cracked pepper and smoke on the nose.  On the palate, this Syrah is medium-bodied with rich, delicate flavors of currants and dark berries - it's drinking well now and will develop more richness over the next few years.

2010 Rattlesnake Hills Viognier   $24

88 Points - Wine Advocate #196 Aug 2011

We all loved last year's Viognier, and the 2010 certainly rivals any wine we've made in the past.  Beautiful nose of mangos, pineapple and a lovely minerality that permeates through to the end.  The mid-palate is light and fruity, with a crisp lingering finish.

2010 Horse Heaven Hills Roussanne - $26

90 Points - Wine Advocate #196 Aug 2011

This wine is gorgeous and bright with a rich straw color and a dense palate.  The classic herbal nose gives way to grilled pineapple and coconut flavors.  The intensely long finish is perfectly balanced with fruit flavors and pronounced acidity.
